Hi,

Could anyone advise as to where the typically Spanish/Canarian bars are around Playa de Las Americas/Torviscus/Puerto Colon areas - (where there tends to be impromptu acoustic guitar playing by the locals).

We are holidaying there in a few days and love to visit these bars.

Sorry but you won't find them in the tourist areas. You'll need to get out into the mountains but they're never pre-organised affairs, usually a sudden decision to go and get a 'timple' (small guitar pronounced tim play) or accordion or both and have a sing song.

I heard from a couple of mates of mine that there are a couple of 'swish' spanish-style bars/clubs in Torviscas. Is this true?

There is a bar behind the marina in LC, just up the hill called....o for goodness sake I have forgotten it now. Give me a sec

While I remember the tapas is very good, lots of old timers playing dominoes, spanish atmos

Achaman and achawoman meets in Oasis Dacota (Helsinki with Moscú)

Does it make sense?? I am better in riddles as in goggle maps, sorry Rob.

(Ok... Helsinki and Moscú are street names and Oasis Dacota I think is called the building in which locals it is placed... what a grammar constructions.... is it an easy way of explaining that?!)

And Jama mostly of spanish bars as I heard are in the north. La Laguna is a good example but I say "heard" because I haven´t move (hang out)myself much in the north (for me north=papers). But I will try to get info.
