I would say the best person to answer this question would be our forum member Bardofely. If he does not answer this thread then pm him I am sure he will be happy to give you some help.

It gets hot by day but is chilly at night and early morning! You can still easily get sunburnt though all the way through the winter but you will also get some very wet days.

Found that sometimes if it was raining in La Laguna if I got on a bus to Sanat Cruz or Puerto it was dry and sunny there!

I think Tenerife has such diverse weather for a small space. Sunny in one area whilst 20 kms away it could be cloudy and raining.

In Guia de Isora last week it was torrential rain around the bus station and bone dry just down the road and still in the same town!

Slightly off Topic as its in the south but earlier this year I was diving in Tenerife around the Palm Mar area. When we came up from the dive, Sarah who had been tending the Rib during the dive told us how she was sunbathing on the bow of the boat when a cloud came along and rained on the stern.

So one end of a 18ft boat was wet and the other dry!!

Strange - but true!

It's been raining a lot here today and I am told there's a red alert for tomorrow!

To be honest I don't know apart from drivers are not advised to drive and so someone who was coming to interview me tomorrow for an article she is writing has postponed it until Thursday. I assume red = danger flooding!
