Someone told me that on Tenerife is reach nudism life! I dont know if that is true. Please let me know. I am planing my holidays and i need some advices.

hello , you are ok "la tejita" is the better nude beach, "la caleta de adeje" is good too (in this live hippies all year) in the north ,puerto de la cruz you can go to "los patos" near the "boyuyo "beach

note: in the end of the tejita beach is a gay meet point

Can any one tell me which is the best reort to stay in to be near the nude beaches. I like natural beaches ie undeveloped, but where everyone is nude. I come in January with my fiance we are mid twentys and enjoy being nude in the sun. any suggestions.

see virtual tour on this website for La Tejina beach. Near to montana roja is where nudists usually gather. You can stay in El Medano, its a good walk along the beach though, but for young people to walk no problem, lots of windsurfers to see as you walk along. As others have said at La caleta good nudist beach but longer walk to get there. There is also another small nudist beach the opposite side of el Medano (long walk)

Topless is accepted as standard practice. There is only one official beach near Puerto de la Cruz where you can get an all over suntan called Playa de los Patos. For directions ask at the Tourist office or go to

there is another hot tip to enjoy nude sunbathing:
COSTA DEL SILENCIO

just at the beginning of Montaña Amarilla you will see mixed groups of nude sunbathing... be careful: when tide is coming up you cannot return the same way and maybe you have to take the walkway over the mountain, it's more a hill and no problem at all...

And if you fancy a drink after sunbathing there then Flicks bar is a few minutes walk from there on the seafront looking over the bay and the nudist beach. Sunday afternoon there's 'live' music too.

Well, Sara, one of the beaches is near where I am but I haven't fancied going there and pointing a camera at sunbathers for obvious reasons!
