I've just been to Tenerife with 5 friends and 1 daughter. We found the Crooked
Spire one night and went back a few times as we had such a warm welcome both from
the Manager who was usually behind the bar and the nightly singer, Deano, who was
very funny, and he could sing which is always useful if you're a singer! We joined
in the Kareoke which was great fun for us, probably not so great for the people
watching and listening ( Well we had to sing to stop 'the sound of the
underground'!! (Deano will get this comment!) If you do sing there don't swing the
microphone - I did and got told off!! There's always one and it's usually me!! When
we go to Tenerife again we will definitely visit the Crooked Spire and higly
recommend it!! It will be interesting to see if the Manager and Deano remember us
.................................................... S H E E P Y M A G N A!!!!!
........................... how could they possibly forget. See you all again soon,
we hope! )

I've just got back from Tenerife with my family, had two weeks, and have to say the
crooked spire was brilliant. We never found it until the second week(hard to see it,
when walking passed), but it was so enjoyable, we went back every night, Deano the
compere has an amazing voice, singing songs from Robbie to the Darkness, infact he
could sing anything. Best singer i have seen in years. He was also great with the
kids, doing his dancing with them.( driving me mad now, dancing to them all the
time)-funny to watch. The kids used to say are we going Deano's bar tonight. The bar
was great, very big, airey and the terrace was great for the kids, it was big and
closed off, so the kids could run around on there own,(Deano would always keep an
eye on them anyway), plus it had pool tables and other stuff for them.
Going back next year for sure, with more of my friends.

Just had to put a comment on about the Crooked Spire, Had a fantastic two weeks there. Second time this year that we have been and it was just as good as the first time.Went twice last year to, What a find!!!.
Thought it would not be the same but nice to see some of the same old faces still there. Deano was out standing yet again, singing all types of music,(wasted working in Tenerife, should be on TV), He was never out of ideas to keep you entertained, He just seems to get better every time w go. Especially enjoyed his Elvis show, very good. Also some of his 'comedy cuts' that he done. Had good breakfasts there aswell, nice to go in, in the daytime and be remember, they never seem to forget your face. My husband loved the fact that they had all the live football on and the F1 racing. Kept him amused for hours while I sunbathed.
Would like to say thanks to the hard working staff at the Crooked Spire for making our holidays more special and memorable, and look forward to seeing them next year.

Had a weeks Holiday late in the summer, and went in the Crooked Spire every night and have to say had a wonderful time. Coming from Chesterfield 'The home of the Crooked Spire' as Deano, the entertainer would put it, found it nice to be able to meet people from my area. The entertainment was excellent, even got roped into singing some songs with Deano, who was very good by the way, My wife enjoyed playing the quiz and Deano's Elvis act, made her cry with laughter when he sat on my knee to sing 'boy of my best friend'. A very friendly bar with friendly staff, My wife enjoyed the cocktails made by the barman and the added touch of peanuts on the table when you got there was very nice. Looking forward to going back next year.

Just got to say, going to the Crooked Spire made our holiday, We enjoyed it so much, we have booked to go back at christmas.
The entertainment was every good, with Deano working very hard every night, singing all types of songs, old or new, which we enjoyed. The drinks were well priced and the breakfasts were lovely. If you go Tenerife, you must pop in to the Crooked Spire. You will enjoy it.
