and from me to, Welcome. If you need any help or advice I will do my best we moved over 1 month ago and in that time we have bank accounts, doctor, car, adsl (that was a nightmare), a beautiful rented appt, my son who is 3 goes to school in Adeje. It has been hard work and frustrating at times but worth it. This site is a god send. Good luck.

Just out of interest where abouts in brighton were you as my husband comes from brighton and i used to live in Hove Actually....lol...

Hove actually at first lol then we moved to Hurstpierpoint for about 3 years. Thanks for the prompt on my location, I will get it changed

A friend of mine took over a pub in Hurst and I persuaded another friend to do a gig there. I can't remember the name of the pub, but it is next door to the Esso petrol station.
Her usual venues were in and around Brighton, but she agreed to sing out in the sticks as a favour to me. She says that it is the most memorable gig that she's ever done. The reason being that about twenty senior boarders had bunked out of the college, and they paid her alot of attention.
With Nicola at that time it was like puting a child in to a sweet shop. You should have seen her sing 'Hey Big Spender, especially when she continued the song with the aid of her radio mike after following one of the poor boys in to the gents'. He came out with a face as red as a beetroot.

How long were you in Hove then Karl? Where abouts aswell....god i am so nosey hee hee....

I know the pub cos I used to do mobile djing and did new years eve there 3 years on the run. Its the White Horse. What a small world.
