hello can anyone tell me about a chinese resturant in porto colon i think!! is it any good where roughly is it?? many thanx!!!

Slow boat is definitely the best!

ah now im hungry for chinese...mmm, sweet and sour spare ribs with egg fried rice, oh and some crispy seaweed!

Now you're making me hungry, I'm in the middle of moving house and office, telefonica won't tell me when they're going to transfer the phone so i'm stuck with most things packed. A nice meal at the Slowboat will go down a treat tonight.

Sounds like your having a great time Rob and i am very tempted to head down there myself, but im working tonight! sob, il have to make do with the little takeaway that seems to never shut on my way home...not quite the same but with the power of imagination...

hola if you go up onto the road at porta colon across the road from hotel la nina there is a chinese buffet it dosn,t look to exciting from outside but the food is great and they have allmost every dish you caan think of ,,,,, its cheap too

The food's not a patch on slow boat though. Plus at slow boat the ambience and waitresses are much nicer.

Lovely, dinner with a long legged blonde with big b....bs. seaweed, special duck, good wine and finished up looking at my new house. A good evening long overdue..........

i remember we went to the chinese above hoppers one night late on , a russian family had basicaly taken over it for a party there was about 50 of them all ages they had hired a disco and kareoke .... they immiedietly invited us to stay and enjoy their party it was a fantastic night my friend who is bulgarian felt right at home speekin mixture of russian and bulgarian one of the best nights spent in tenerife OOPS nearly lost it there

I don't see why, although I'm not sure if it opens before lunch!

Most foreigners think us Brits are strange eating all that fried stuff for breakfast and Chinese food can't be any worse - might get some funny looks but by the sounds of you, you wouldn't care anyways

...must say i prefer curries!! i find that when im scoffing my chinese i feel full up really quickly, so i chuck it away, then i'm starving an hour later!!.... hmmm....must just be one of my many quirks....he he he

yeah chinese food always makes me feel hungry an hour later, but there must be something good about it as its popularity has spread as far as China....
