This may sound strange on a predominantly fun, nightlife based website but does anyone know anywhere in southern tenerife or sant cruz for that matter that sells fabric? or craft shop of any description?

plenty of places. The south is a big area so don't know where you want but there's a big one in Las Chafiras or San Isidro, further to the west Playa san Juan. Also several in Santa Cruz

Hi ya
In the south their are local canarian shops called El Kilo they sell fabric and buttons,zips,elastic ect the are dotted everywhere they have red signs and white writing. Santa cruz have alot of shops some are very unusual a little more expensive sometimes there is also an ikea

Depending on what kinds of craft material you want to find, you´ll find a nice little art shop behind the school in Las Galletas. Paints, inks, craft papers, etc.

For embroidery threads and probably (?) fabric paints etc, try El Cardon in Las Galletas.

There is an El Kilo in Las Galletas too and one in Guaza. At least one in Los Cristianos.

You might try OFIPapel for papers in Los Cristianos but they are insanely expensive for some things - €25 for a fancy self sharpening pencil!

In Carrefour in the north you´ll find an art shop and a hobby shop.
