Hey there just wanted to say a quick hello,
We are two gals one from essex and one a geordie looking for any help we might need to come out to tenerife were planning on coming in august and just see how we go from there...
Were both into surfing (must say we suck) however hoping to improve on that one!
Recommend any areas or areas not to go to? Or anywhere to learn spanish... even better on the job.. as we both need jobs too lol.
Anyhelp would be great

Welcome to the forum. Everything you could ever want and more is here!!!
Just a note off the shores of La Caleta in the south I saw some surfer type dudes, waves looked pretty big to me, but what I know about surfing you could right on a stamp.

El medaon is excellennt for surfing and the have hire shops and also have international competitions down there to..

Get hold of the Michel Thomas CD set. It's very good and will give you a good grounding and understanding of Spanish before you get here that you can then improve on.
It doesn't teach you set phrases either, so you sould be able to work out how to say pretty much anything you want.
