It roughly about £0.80 cents per litre. If you look around you can get it for about 75 or 76.

So about 55p.

lol I know exactly what you mean. It hurts my head thinking about it. Its.....well its you know what, I could not post my thoughts here.

Anyhow you have a 3 month trip coming up and then here for good later in 2007.

Then you can wave goodbye to it all, the same as we decided to do.

Karl have you only been for 5 months? I thought you had been here a lot longer than that. You have certainly picked up lots of information. Although must admit when we moved out last June we had done quite a lot of homework beforehand, so did make it easier when we got here.

Angimac am sure you will love it here although does take a bit of getting used to at the beginning. Very Happy Very Happy

Yeah, about 4 and a half months. Came over on 28th March. Must say this site was a bonus and having my brother here already was a big plus.

Clare and I are very organised, Clare more so than I. We did a lot of reading and searching before coming over which made life a lot easier.

As my gran use to say 'plentiful planning prevents pitiful performance'.
Think is was that.

I am sure you found the same as us either you learn quickly and start to pick things up or you are going to suffer and not enjoy the Island to the full.

Crikey Karl you have done well, I didn't know about this site when we first moved over which was a pity as someone is always there to offer advice, info etc.

I know on an earlier post you said you work for the employer you had in England. Is this long term or is it just a fixed period. Sorry to be so nosey just interested. Very Happy Very Happy

No probs Sunny ask away. It is for an initial 12 month period and provided I reap in some sales then I do not see why it will not be re- newed next year.

I am lucky to have a very good employer who I hold a lot of respect for.

i thought u'd been there ages karl, well its only 5 and a half months (that should take me to begginng of feb??) until i come out providing my plans all go well, the thing that scares me most is my mate cancelling on me and having to come alone Shocked but im sure it will all be fine...

so petrol has risen again in the UK WHAT A SURPRISE. although we have also risen. When i first moved here laat year it was 72c now it wavers on 83c but you can get it cheaper in some places..
