Can anyone help, know the LC fiesta is this weekend but trying to find out when and what time the firework display on the beach is, think it could be on Sunday? We are taking friends so do not want to go on the wrong day.

Hi Sunny have managed to find out this, Del Carmen Fiesta, LC.

Fri 1st Sep - 10pm on beach Gala night for election of the junior queen
Sat 2nd - 11am plays on the beach for children followed by a foam party at 8.30pm then a Youth Concert.
Sun 3rd - 8pm land and sea procession.
Mon 4th - descent of the statue of the Virgen del Carmen to the pier in LC.
Followed by a fishermans dance.
Tue 5th - Farewell. The evening will include music and fireLIGHTS ??

Thanks Karl, as always can rely on you to come up with useful information. Fishermans Dance sounds nice. Still not sure when the fireworks are though. FireLIGHTS?? Maybe someone else can help. As will look a right plonker if we take our friends on the wrong night. Cheers though.

It's normally on the first Sunday in September every year. The two main firework companies on the island have rival displays! Wear some walking shoes because unless you go early you won't get parking anywhere near the beach.

sounds good to me.....i was going down the beach on sunday for a lovely day in the sun...might stay all day and have some food out then watch the fiesta. Souds like it will keep my tribe occupied for a while at least.

Do we know what part of the beach it will all be happening at??????? Is it at the port side???????

It's usually on the beach of the original fishing harbour, where the La Gomera ferry comes in. They'll start 10 or 11 ish

Fireworks last night were absolutely amazing, did anyone else see them. Display went on for 50 minutes. Beforehand we also saw the procession of Our Lady (think out here she is called the Madonna). As you said Rob two companies either side of the beach competing. At the end they both joined together for a fantastic finish. Not to be missed. Plus Dave won be a big teddy (sad or what). Loops I did take some pictures but looking at them now they don't really capture the scene.
