hey anyone hope ya can help.
Im goin out to tenerife next week to work for the summer. I really wanna n need to open a bank account out there n was just wondering how easy it is to do and do i need a certain amount of money to start the account up?if so how much? I hope someone can help me! Thank you x x

You can open a bank account (non resident) with as little as €1. Some even have English internet access too.

i'm bored now, you make it too easy for me to show you up..anyway, since you came on the site it's become a lot of mindless drivel. i'm guilty of giving you the satisfaction of arguing with you... something that i know i am way above doing...all the fun and interest i had in this forum has gone...i'll move on and let you bore and be rude and condecending to others....and a word of advice..use either your spell check, or a dictionary...for both english and spanish... why look more of an idiot than needs be?? be happy, don't scare off too many would be tourists and visitors to this site....

Hi Mary,

You will have no problem opening a bank account when you come over to Tenerife, I bank with Bankinter and I find them very helpful, and if you don,t speak Spanish most of the banks in the tourist areas have at least one english speaking member of staff, all you will need to do is to take along your passport for a non-residents account.
