Im in San Eugenio Alto right now...was going to move into a place in fanabe as from yesterday...my freinds are now messing me about and we have had a row as a result..so i just need to get away from the situation..it will all be cool once its resolved..but as far as where i want to live i really dont mind...my mates car broke down the week i arrived here so we were getting the guagua to work everyday to san juan....about an hour each way give or take playa paraiso...depending on the drivers mood...my job finishes there next month and we have work lined up in las americas..so really...any where within a bus ride away for the moment....south thats for sure! Palm mar thats nr Playa silencio yes? Any wheres cool right now...just need the space and so do they so hey!

Callao is quite reasonable for renting Simba. We Lived in San Eugenio Alto when we first moved out here and found we could get far nicer for the same money in Callao Salvaje. Quite handy for where you are working too seeing you are using the buses.

There are a couple of agents in Callao. Sometimes it's as well to have a walk round an area and look for the rental signs. There are always plenty around.

We do have the car back now, however... i shall keep looking and thanks! Buses not good...was just explaining they are an option and not afraid to use them

Do you have a number for the agents in callao? Just dont want to be paying agency fees if i can at help it as i know there around 150 for the privilege!

I live in Chio and the bus into Las Americas takes 30 mins from here... none of that crap of going into the little villages that takes all the time!

My bloke gets the bus to work every day.

The buses up here come every 2 hours, however if you live 5 mins drive down the road in Guia, or maybe even closer... somewhere like Tejina or Tijoco, the bus ride will be quicker and they come every half an hour ish. The rental prices are a LOT less too...

Kirsty your a star mi thinks..ive just e mailed Dave rock! Things happen very quickly here for me at the moment..so now i have a double room to rent! Any takers? Gonna complile an e mail tomorrow and ad some pics...so...


Know what you say about the rent and the guaguas...im working in San Juan and if i spoke enough Spanish and had my own car i would seriously think about moving there..its dirt cheap compared to where we are now!

Hopefully i can rent this room and then i can stay where i am...it will be suitable for young couples or singles and i have internet and a newly built bbq out on the terrace..quite private..but a nice view also..good for watching the sunset and stars
