Stupid question time, lol I want to make sure I am giving my plants the best possible care.
I came to water them this morning and realised the balls on top absorb the water? Is this ok or should I water them more.
Is it better to use plant pots with drainage holes or not. Does it make a difference?
Thank you _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com

I can't answer about the balls absorbing the water as I have never come across the ones you are using. You should always use plant pots with drainage holes as the plants can very easily get waterlogged.
Use trays under the pots to save you constantly having to clean the terrace and the plants soon take up the water from the trays. |

| I think the balls you are referring to Karl at the polystyrene (spelling) ones that are mixed with the soil to give more air to the compost (I think) !! |

Hmm, I think that I know of the ones that you're speaking of. I shot a load of them into my floral beds last year, with excellent results. The borders were awash with bright colours. Not bad, eh? Sunny, if you wish, I'll toss a handful in your direction. It'll do wonders for your winter bloomers.... |

Sunny, okay, no problem. Mind you if the instructions are in spanish, you may experience some difficulties as to the manner of usage. If you are unable to get your head around the diction (language) perhaps there are some pictures (showing manner of application) on the packets (of balls).... |

I have been told these small blue balls (no comments please Jama lol) are used as a fertiliser !!!!!!!
You only need a few grams in each whole plant pot _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com
