Where is the forecast for that you're looking at? The capital Santa Cruz? It's very different up there to here.
You could always save a load of dosh and stay in the UK and visit your local sun bed parlour. _________________ .

Rob ive been looking at tenerife sur on all the weather sites, the bbc one sure seems furthest removed from the others lol
Ive been to the south many times before and experiened the clouds gathering around the mountain which isnt too bad or much of a problem when its warm but its the rain im keen to avoid.
I went to mauritius a couple of years ago and it rained every day i was there lol |

Not long after moving here in September 2005 we had to get a few things from Santa Cruz Ikea. We went for a snack at the Ikea Cafe which looks out towards McDonalds. It was a cold wet dreich day.
I remarked as we looked out of the window that we could quite easily be back in Glasgow.
We got back early afternoon and spent the rest of the day on the beach and in the sea.
To me that demonstrates the difference between the weather in the south and Santa Cruz although not always the case. |

I think at the end of the day you are going to have to just go for it. No weather predictions are spot on anyhow.
Sorry to hear about Mauritius, that must have been awful. _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com

Agreed Dave, by the way, Ikea is in La Laguna not Santa Cruz. La Laguna is at around 2,000 feet so has a different climate again than Santa Cruz. _________________ .

Nah not too keen on the food at Ikea. We were in a rush that day and it was a case of needs must to be honest with you. The only other options was the McDonalds and I really detest their food. |

A little off thread but we were in MacDonalds the other week as a treat for Tom (which he gets about once a month before anyone thinks I am a bad parent) and Clare always checks Toms food, no matter where we are.
His burger was still red inside, had to take it back and get another one.
Emmm missed opportunity. Could have been rich had I had my camera _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com

If you need a snack when you're up there go to the first bar on the right as you enter the Al Campo building. Lots of choice, quick and simple. _________________ .
