I have been looking into details regarding the tax and social security systems here and I have found two useful web sites that are mainly in English for general information

Ministry of Social Security Seguridad Social Dept web:

Ministry of Tax Hacienda Dept web:
http://www.minhac.es/Portal?cultura=en-GB

The links should be in English although some of the info is still in Spanish but there is enough in English to give some basic info on the systems. Very Happy
