..i now have a nasal spray called zomig to use, but as with everything else, as you've used it for a while, it stops working as well, so i'm suffering big style....stress is a huge factor, as is insomnia. i need a stress free kinda life i reckon...somewhere nice and warm Think

Sara, I don't know how long you tried the feverfew for but most herbal cures need to be taken on a regular basis for some time before they kick in! This is why conventional medicine often wins because people expect to take a pill and feel better and some drugs are that strong they provide temporary relief.

As for stress I was hoping for a quieter life here and actually it has gone the other way but I know that won't put you off this place and I am glad I'm here! Wink

..bard, at least you're stressed in the sun!! i'm stressed in the rain!! Crying

..i tried feverfew when i was about 13, for about 18 months ( at the suggestion of my g.p. who wanted to try the natural approach before having to give in to conventional meds.)...no effect whatsoever... Crying or Very sad

...migraines are a pain (! excuse the pun) in the butt...i can't drive, drink, eat, lie down , stand up, sit down, every position hurts...and i look a prat 'cos i have to wear my sungigs even when the sun isn't out.......awwww, don't you all feel sorry for me??? hopefully by tomorrow the worst will be over and i can get back to being my normal ( !) self...ha! ha! ha!

...wayhay!!!! my migraine's gone!!

...still mega stressed, packing boxes, skipping stuff...it's all a bind, but has to be done when you're moving!!.. and, for a change we have hot and sunny weather, so we're all hot 'n' sweaty as well as ratty!! ....god knows how you lot that are in the reef did it!! Think

did you all become minimalists ( phew, i hate that word) ?? did you just up and leave with your clothes in a suitcase and just start again when you got there?? or did you also have all this crap to do?? ...i'll be glad when we are in the other house and sorted....i need brandy and PLENTY of chocolate!!!....all donations very greatly received!!

Yes, Sara, I became a minimalist!

I took one heavy travelling bag packed full to the weight allowed and a guitar as extra baggage and posted some books and records over and that was it!

..oh bard that sounds ideal!! i never knew i had so much crap... kids toys that have seen better days, clothes that for some reason i have kept from the 80's, books that i'll never read again, blah, blah ,blah, ha! ha! ha! ..i've still got my guitar ( minus a string)...don't really know what to do with it...probably'll end up in the skip ( my other halfs favourite place!!) Laughing
