I know i will prob sound very very daft but i am a bit out of date with technology to be honest!

If i bring my computer over and get the internet connected will my computer work ok?

Am gonna risk my tv i think.

Is there anyhting else that i havent thought about that i should know?

Your computer will work fine although you will need to install the software for your new ISP.

I don't think that TV's from the UK work though. I was told that if you input the signal via a video then to the Tv it will work although I have not tried it. Perhaps someone else on the forum knows for sure.

Your computer, no problem. Your TV will depend on the age, older ones will get picture but no sound, they can be converted for about £35 but if it's that old it won't be worth bringing I think. All that hassle when you can buy a new 29 " for about 160 Euros.

my TV worked fine.....and if you use ADSL....router theres no software...ADSL modem....little bit of software....dial you dont really need anything either....it is very very simple..lol...especially for me with a lovely techy as a husband lol.... Wink
