anyone know how far the village of Tijoco Bajo is from las americas? ive found a property there two bedroomed with garage space and swimming pool for 600 euros a month including bills which i didnt think was all that bad?

any help would be much appreciated thanks x

I viewed a place there not so long ago. Quita a quiet village. Nice views (where isn't there).

As I've said many times before. If you're going to rent a place outside the tourist areas it's cheaper in rent BUT it will cost a lot each month in transport if you want to come in daily to work or at night to party.

If i'm not mistaken i think its quite a way past the airport on the way to santa cruz, i'm sure i've seen signs for it way past grenadilla on the way north. Think its about 25 mins drive from what we know as civilisation.

If I drove I would definitely live out that way.....I love that area....the views are fab too.

I have friends who live near Los Menores....

Even when you drive around that area near chio and that...it is gorgeous....rather spanish aswell...not to many brits..

But it is a bit of a trek back to Las Americas if that is where you are to be working...

Public transport is not too great out that way the bus doesnīt run very frequently and whatīs more they donīt run to time.

knew it would be more spanish orientated which is fab (sorry guys), of course i felt the one thing in our way is obviously travelling though we may find work within the village hmm maybe thats throwing ourselves in at the deep end abit to soon hehe
