First of all I succeeded in getting 9 out of 10 caterpillars through to the chrysalis stage and so far 5 have emerged and flown away.

The editor of the Tenerife Sun was so taken with this project that he has asked me to write an article all about it.

It should be the next Tenerife Sun but the new one has just come out so its another 2 weeks - not next Thursday but the one after - if I get it in on time!

I am sure they do deliver here but Andropogon who posts here is mailing me seeds and cuttings from Amsterdam plus I found some seeds I had misplaced and the plants that were eaten are now growing back!

That's great then. I was not sure about them delivering here with it being seeds and also an American site. I hope you keep us informed on how things progress. I am really interested in conservation and the like.

Yes, it grows fine in pots and the 2 plants that I have reared the caterpillars on are in pots and the main plant was stuck out on the wall that divides my balcony from the next, so it doesn't mind an exposed condition as long as its watered.
