Good morning Jo, I venture to presume that'll it'll be nice and warm. The sand will be soft and powdery. The sea will be crystalline, sparkling and gently undulating. The social vibe will be strong and pulsating.
Mind you, what do I know? I'm sure that others within this forum will adjust my speculation as appropriate.
Meantime, I hope that you enjoy yourselves in Costa Adeje.... |

For me the sea is too cold even in summer but then I'm still wearing a jumper although most are out in t-shorts! In March/April it will be warm and I'm sure if you are coming from UK it will seem hot |

It varies from about 18c in February up to about 25c in late Summer/early Autumn. Even the kids will probably moan at 18c, but its been an exceptionally warm winter so far, and the sea temperatures are still at about 20-21c, which is probably a degree or two above normal for the time of year. Easter time it should be up to 22-23c. If you're still not sure, try filling your bath and testing it with a thermometer. If the kids get in and scream, you know its either too hot or too cold
From what I've seen on the beach over Christmas, most kids don't seem to care if its a bit cold anyway, its the adults who moan.
Anyway, this link shows you the current world water temperatures.

I used to have a link to a month by month graph showing the water temperatures around the canaries, but I can't find it. Can anyone help? _________________ My Paranoia-Management Therapy is going great! Now they're only watching me half the time.... |
