Mañana
Mañana means the morning, tomorrow or another day,
On Tenerife it's commonly said and often means delay,
Mañana means not now
In other words it's coming late,
Mañana is an ideal word
If you want to procrastinate.
Mañana means tomorrow and goodbye until then,
We often wait for mañana,
It'll come but who knows when.
Mañana allows a laid back life
Where nothing much gets done,
Mañana is the way here in this island in the sun.
Chorus:
Mañana mañana, la-la-la-la-la
I'll see you mañana
I am sorting out a tune for this very soon. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Thanks for your comment, Johny! Yes, I was hoping to do that! Plan is to create a pop song and get someone younger and prettier than myself to sing it. I have asked Shelly who sings at Flicks and she's interested. Now I need to sort out a tune and arrangement. But not now, maybe mañana!
BTW, the la-la-la was added cos I have noted it is an essential ingredient here. You need songs with choruse people can easily remeber and sing along to. Marc Bolan's Hot Love works well that way! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

I can't remember how that goes.....
Yeah Lalalaala and nananana always helps when you can't be arsed writing the rest of a chorus! |

Sure does and can transform a song into a mega hit!
How about "Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey-eh-eh, goodbye" and "na-na-na, na-na-na-nah, hey Jude?"
Or a classic from Boney M? "Brown girl in the ring tra-la-la-la-la...etc etc
La-la-la-la-la hahahaha!
Good for Eurovision song contests too of course! _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |
