| In Tenerife/Gran Canaria I am looking for one area sales manager and a couple of greedy bustards to work with him! I am NOT looking for smart Alecs! What I want is people m/f to work hard and earn a whole bundle of money! There is no weekly salary, this is commission only! Hard work and application will result in high earnings. I am not easy to work for! (Some complain I am a complete *!!*) I demand that, in return for the best training, I enjoy high returns. This is not time share, kitchens, double glazing or anything like it. If you think you have the resolve to convince me that I should take you on as either a manager or in a sales position and want to work for me selling probably the easiest and best sale I have ever encountered, to both bars and businesses, then give me (Mike) a ring in Lanzarote on either 928.848583 or 639.166589. I f you are scared of hard work or rejection….don’t bother! |

If it's 'probably the easiest sale around', why would you have to work hard Mr Charisma? _________________ Red Arrow Money Exchange means discounts for all! |

Guys your replies have given me a good laugh over the last few days. The ad was intended to be tongue-in-cheek and was aimed at the sort of people who have either tried or have already worked in a com. only job.
I am neither a bully nor any of the other things that have been mooted. I will admit that maybe the wording was a little on the brutal side but you might be surprised to hear that it has already elicited several replies from potential sales persons who understood the intended humour. My apologies if any of you were offended. I started two new sales staff over here today and both have achieved sales on their first day although neither of them have ever sold direct before which indicates that my description of an easy sale was not too far off the mark.
Best wishes to all of you and thanks for the giggle
Mike. |

The answer is simple...with relatively low order values the commission per sale, although a reasonable %age, needs several orders per week to maintain the sort of income ambitious salesmen strive to achieve. We are not promising the earth but, with the right kind of application a comfortable figure is readily achievable. Hours to suit yourself, no pressures, and the possibility of €30K p.a. dependent on your work ethic sounds pretty good to me! Of course not everyone who gives it a shot will succeed. That goes without saying. The fact is that only the most self-motivated salespeople can and will reach that sort of figure but it beats bar work or standing outside a bar trying to persuade disinterested passers-by to come in for drink. I rest my case! As far as mentioning the fact that it is commission only then why pretend otherwise? |

For those curious to know what it's about..... A new website, poorly built with a PR of 0 How are they to compete against sites such as www.myspacetenerife.com giving free ads ? Would you want to try to sell something to someone when they can get better free of charge? _________________ .
