Went to this restaurant tonight and was amazed at the quality of food.
The starter was a mix of tapas which included pate, prawns, some vegy stuff lol and lamb spring rolls - delicious.
I had the fillet steak for main with a choice of sauces and veg, I ordered it medium, it was cooked to perfection.
The food is cooked in an open air kitchen so you can see it being prepared.
Being on the sea front the views are amazing. Its not the cheapest place around the steak was 14.75 euros per head but the starter was just over 5 euros.
For the quality and ambience, give it a try.
They also have a play area for the kids which Tom loved, it includes tv and dvd so take your own dvd along.... _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com

Isn't it nice when places have kids' play areas... It makes such a difference knowing you can actually eat more than two mouthfuls in peace!
I wish more places in Tenerife would do this. Just sticking a blackboard, a few chalks and some books in a corner would surfice!
I may add that info to the Canarian Mum. A new section entitled 'places for YOU to go where the kids can entertain themselves' or something... _________________ Buy & Sell your stuff online FREE - www.canarianexchange.com - eBay for the Canaries |

After reading Karl's post we decided to try the Atlantic last night.
We had the tapas starter which was very unusal and tasty. I had the lamb for my main course and it was excellent.
The service was really good too as the staff were all very friendly. |

We noticed with interest Karl that there are more alcoholic beverages on your list than food items!
Good to hear you had such a great time - seems like very good value for money - we'll have to give it a go next time we're over.

So Clare persuaded you!! I ended up having egg sandwiches.lol. Then an enjoyable evening at the AGM. And it finished at 8.30pm a full 5 hours before our last one finished. _________________ What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy? Oh come on - Karl is a lightweight when it comes to drink.
When we lived above Karl and Clare we had to be careful when opening wine or Karl would get woosy on the fumes. Now Clare is a different matter she knows how to party

I will have you know they were quite large glasses of red wine and Amstel is a full strength beer lol
After dinner we actually took our son to the mini disco at one of the Hotels in Callao, and here I had another glass of red.
Now that is being able to hold your ale lol
Hope you enjoyed those Egg Buttys Mannhoole. The Fillet steak was not that good actually!!!!! Neither was the mussel soup.......
