I think that this winter has been much drier and warmer than last year and prvious years when I have been here on holiday. It seems to have got warmer a lot earlier this year too. Is this just my imagination?

I think it has been lovely this winter.....hardly any rain and the sun has been shining on me loads....lol

Only been here for one Winter but from what I have heard it has been a lot warmer. The down side of that of course is that the snow on Teide lasted about a day and my son was soooo disappointed he could not go up and play in it.

I don't suppose there is any chance of it coming back now, has the snow gone for good until next year?

Not sure Karl but I know that last year the snow lasted well into May. Seems to have gone very quickly this year.

I can remember being here on holiday in the past in March and April and there always being snow on Teide at that time.

I was here in April one year and we had a rainstorm at night, the next day all the mountains were covered in snow. Just as in the UK there's is no absolute guarantee with the weather.

Winter in the UK has been alot warmer too.. The Suns shined nearly everyday!

I think its generally been warmer too, but I swear we've had a lot more cloudy days than last winter, especially in November and December. The last few weeks have been better though.... Its all good

Agree with you Funky more cloudier days but not so much rain. Even had people swimming in the pool the last couple of weeks, water in pool too cold for me though, need it to warm up a bit yet Very Happy
