Hi all!

I'm thinking about moving back to Tenerife soon. I lived there for 3 years when I was in middle school (A LONG TIME AGO!). My last visit was bout 5 years ago for the carnivals. My father is from La Guancha and I lived in Icod de los Vinos when I was last there. Just trying to get a feel for the lifestyle there. I'm really into punk/goth scene. I imagine its not very popular over there at all but I was wondering if there is anything at all over there. Also would love to meet some new cool people!

Hi Pucca! I just sent you an add me as a friend request at Myspace. I am also at LJ and at the moment in my latest thread a Goth called Taryn has just posted a pic of me and a link to a load of pics she and her bf Hamish aka Supergoth took while they were here. http://www.livejournal.com/users/elybard/

I have a Goth DJ friend called Charlie who lives in Puerto and he told me there was a club there that Goths and Metallers go! There's some Canarian bands that play punk style music. There's a festival on in Puerto's Parque San Francisco on Aug 13th with La Gripe, Los Dificiles, Malosmodos, Porretas and Gran Banda Mandinga.

I met Charlie at the carnival in Santa Cruz and I was in it in the closing main procession!

Very Awesome! I will prolly not be able to move till the end of the year start of next but defy wanted to check things out. Get to know what goes on over there and all that good stuff! =)

*edit*If anyone could give me some links to clubs or nightscene of tenerife it would be outstanding or just current pics of santa cruz, puerto de la cruz, Playas de las Americas or any other place which is very popular.

I have added you and just been browsing your LJ! I see you have a lot of very Tenerife pics. You will find some of mine if you scroll down my LJ too. I love taking pics here. I also LOVE Icod de los Vinos and went there on my birthday. It is 1 of the places I am looking for a place in. I am elybard at LJ!
