This might be the most ridiculous question a person has answered or asked but I was wondering if anybody knows where I can buy some scales?

I would imagine Electrocris at El Camison would do them, or any of the ferreterias (I think I have seen them in the one by the chuch in los cris, (the 2 floor one)

Good call Apollo. Electrocris do stock a limited range. You can also get a bigger range (at least 5 different types) at Megacenter (The Euronics store) next to Afortunadas in Las Chafiras. I love that store. Well, except the 2 hours it takes to get through the checkout... 
Other than that, I'm not sure. The usual suspects in Santa Cruz will have loads (Carrefour, El Corte Ingles etc).
