That's not the first time someone has complained about the speed on here. I've noticed that sometimes it takes me to the yellow page-source screens, or it hangs when I click on send-message.

So how do you 'fix' it then Rob? Do you have a secret switch then, or is it simply a case of giving the servers a good hard whack? Laughing

Yep I have had the same problem too today, sometimes I need to copy it and go back to Tenerife Forum and paste it in!

Our site is aimed primarily at the UK market so it's preferable that we are served there. London's docklands has an excellent infrastructure so that's where we are based. Remember that the forum is only one small part of our site and our traffic is very high, Tenerife, notwithstanding all it's other benefits, cannot offer the same service. Would you want your business to rely on Telefonica?

Fair enough, I wouldn't trust Telefonica to remember to get up in the morning!

Dave's still got me laughing about the image of you beating the hell out of the servers with a stick. Maybe you could make a special trip to London to indulge yourself? Its got to be theraputic... Wink
