Post subject: Job needed from July onwards |
|
|
Iīm looking for a job in the south of Tenerife from the start of July. Iīm a Spanish/Linguistics student who also speaks German and a bit of French, and would like to get a job where I can use any/all of these languages. Iīm over here for the week, but so far I havenīt found anything too promising. Iīm also looking for a job for my wife, who is a nurse, and speaks German and Elglish fluently, but not very much Spanish (she is keen to learn, though!).
Many thanks,
Jonathan |

As an employer I wouldn't want to wait 3 months for someone to start work. . I'm unable to tell from your post how much Spanish you speak, but if it's reasonable you should be able to get work. Are you looking for permanent or short term? _________________ .

| My Spanish is proficient, but not completely fluent at the moment, as I havenīt had very much conversation practice yet. Iīll be in Tenerife for a year (possibly two summers) as part of my course. The problem is, my university wants me to have a contract in advance, which I understand may be difficult here. |

What you're trying to do is very difficult because of the thousands of others that want to do the same thing. You would stand more chance by going to a less popular part of Spain such as Barcelona. _________________ .

and probably learn more Spanish! It would be very easy to not learn any Spanish here in Tenerife.
I had to go to France and Germany as part of my degree, although I was very lucky as the Uni sorted out jobs for everyone. _________________ Who am I? Find out more here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=17
