I think I saw reductions 2 weeks ago on small digital safes at Afortunadas in Las Chafiras. I think they were down to about €80 odd euros. (they are actually keypad safe deposit boxes like you get in hotels, as I take it you don't actually need an proper safe?)

Bunny - There's a ferreteria right behind the Orlando. If you go up the new road at the side of the Orlando and turn right at the top it's the very first building you come to.

Alternatively they have a good choice of safes in the Ferreteria opposite the Parque Royale. Most of the prices inlcude the fitting of them too.
