It depends on what you are referring to....If you are referring to people or places you use the verb conocer otherwise use saber. I'll bet you didn't know that... Wink

how would i say "please can i have a taxi to the hotel caribe?"

i know how to say how much but then knowing my luck i wont understand the reply because the spanish talk so fast fast fast

very basic spanish im asking for but youve got to start somewhere x

The taxi drivers always look at me a bit odd when i ask for park-A de la reynah.

I did not know (a person) = No le/la conocía

I do not know (a person) = No le/la conozco
