| I wouldn't mind but they're so inconsistant and if you speak to 5 coppers in there they'll all give you a different answer and they change the goal posts every 5 minutes. |

Yeah, it's pretty crazy: I was told 12 weeks and a friend of mine who went there weeks after me was told 10. Also the form says you need passport photos but they don't want these at all (although I have been told they used to!)
I think they make it up as they go along!

Last time I went we got told 10 days to 2 weeks.
Literally every time I go to get an NIE number or social security number for friend I check with our Ghestoria to see if anythings changed! |

Due to high demand for NIE forms, rather than replying in person to each I will post here that unfortunately thanks to a massive computer breakdown I lost the form. I may be able to get it back but at the mo it is somewhere in cyberspace. 
Try googling for it, other than that, it doesnt always take ages at the police station, if you are polite to the bloke/woman at the desk and attempt a bit of espanol, you can get it dealt with pretty pronto.

if you follow this link here i have found what i belive to be the nie form online i takes a bit if time to download but it is there

this is my site i know its a bit slow but it does the job and i just uploaded the form to there for you all
