It even got to the point where they went down with an offical letter from santa cruz...then got the appoint lol.
The benefits are very little really....dont stress though bard...I am sure things will get themselves sorted and you will be OK |
Seems like bureaucracy gone mad and very difficult to deal with whatever way you go. Even if I have to go to Santa Cruz it takes about 90 minutes on the bus, which is why I don't go there much and never at night cos I can't get home! Then if I made an appointment there and was later told it was no good at LA I would definitely be in a state and would write up my story for one of the papers! |

Reading all this still think Dave and I will stick with our NIE's and passports and wait for it all to die down a bit, as although they are saying we should have it you are not breaking the law if you don't (for the moment anyway). |

Clare has just got her Residencia certificate. I dropped her outside PDLA police station at 6.50am where there were already about 30-40 people.
At 9am when they open you walk past police giving tickets out, one for Residencia and one for NIE. Then you go in and wait until your number is called. She was out by 10.15. I think they only give out 50 tickets for each but I am not 100% on that. _________________ Need a cleaner in South Tenerife ? Cleaning just got better... www.maid4tenerife.com
