What i meant to say was Hi. I am in the process of buying an apartment in South Tenerife and hoping to move there in the next few years. Does anyone know how hard or easy it is to get hospital jobs in Tenerife? My parents have retired there and love it and I want to go too but dont want to give up my career, My Spanish isnt great but I can go to classes. Ant advise would be gratefully received

Hi Lisaloo welcome from me, you can search and see lots of info on here, we are all here to help. Really do think you will need to learn Spanish before you can attempt to get a hospital job. I am sure my fellow forum friends will also be able to offer lots of advice.

Do keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on, or if you cannot find the info you require just ask.

Hi Lisaloo and a big welcome from me too. As I've said on here thousands of times, speaking good Spanish is the best way to get a decent job here. Exactkly the same if a Spaniard went to the uk, he/she would need to speak English to get a decent job.

I also agree learning spanish is a big yes! i know the bare minimum and it doesnt help, i simply work in a mini supermarket and i really wish i was fluent!
