On the topic of bono cards, how long do they stay valid for? I've got one from when i was last over thinking i could use it to get about again, but i know the ones here expire after a while

Nick 2 customers came into the shop where i work the other day and they had been over last October and there bono buses still worked so i dont think they have a time limit on them to be honest Smile

Leanne as Jenny mentioned the website is very helpful and even with me and Paul in Callao Salvaje which is rather remote and very small they have a bus service every hour and is always on time though they do have a habit of being early and not waiting - Rolling Eyes

The only downfall is the ride itself lol - dont aboard with a hangover eek! they are very good drivers but oh my lord Road Rage

You ought to try a mountain bus route like the one up to here from Las Americas and going back your way (south) I find they often go fast and there are so many bends in the road its not for those with a weak stomach or tendency to travel sickness!

If you want to try really remote and a mountain road try the 246 from Santa Cruz to Tagana and Almáciga - so remote there are no shops and just a couple of bars! I considered living there but changed my mind! Laughing
