I've just heard the news and weather forecast for the UK for the next few days. ..................... 
Tip the water out of the kids pool and you've got a makeshift boat.

My wife and son are in the UK at the moment, Brighton.
Miserable weather is an under statement.

Apparently it's much worse in the North. Sara from 'uddersfield can probably confirm that....if her toothache has subsided.

It's lovely here, working topless with a fan going. 
In fact....I may just pop out into the garden for a quick jacuzzi.

...still have toothache, and its still raining...plenty of places round here are flooded, my hubs is working in sheffield at the moment and he says the roads are wrecked and what should have been a 40 minute journey home on monday took him 3 1/2 hours because of the damage!! roads are closed and a neighbour over the road has had to get a firm in to pump the water from her patio...but, on the good side, the supermarkets have lots of nice fruit and veg ( cos its too wet to go out, except for us saddos who don't mind looking like drowned rats)the plants in the garden look good, and i can have my heating on cos its so cold.and, it may stop raining for a few minutes later on!! what more could we ask for??  |
