not another one...gee thats all we need...
we had one when i flew home...I could see the wall of sand from the plane.
Then the sirocco...then the fires. I JUST WANT NORMAL weather here...lol

| There was a calima all over Lanzarote when I came back on the 19th and from the plane you could see the thick blanket of dust cloud and blue sky above! Very weird it looked! |

...and theres me just hoping that when i get up in a morning there's no rain!!...a bit of sunshine and heat goes down so well with me!!.. 
...on the whole , you lot in tenerife have fabulous weather year round, so one or two calimas can't be THAT bad!!...uncomfortable i admit, and i do feel sorry for you!!..but when the weather is back to normal you can all laugh at us poor beggers back here in the uk who are stuck in downpours and gale force winds!! |

Oh dont say that Rob, we have not one fan in our appt so you must all feel for us and all my girls can say is that they slept like logs and didn't feel the heat at all
If this carries on i might have to give this naturist thing a thought..................................oh for at least 10 seconds!!!!!!!!!!! |

..it's been very hot and sunny here for a week lisa, but what i'm saying is that it probably won't last...at least in tenerife you can sort of "expect"(???guarantee) it to be nice weather throughout the summer-we can't in the uk...
...strips!!...its true!! how come kids can sleep thru it being so hot when we can't??... |

| Well, it'll be hot and sunny at my next destination. On Monday, I'm jetting off to South Africa for 6 months', and the weather should start to get really warm soon. Not sure if I'll be able to cope with the sunshine, stunning beaches and beer..!! |

Where abouts in South Africa are you going? It's mid winter there now, even in the very south it can get chilly.

| I'll be spending time between Jo'Burg and Capetown. I've spoken to some of my friends about the weather, and have been advised that the weather at the moment varies between 3 degrees (night) and 26 degrees (day). So, it lookslike I'll be wearing the jacket and scarf during the evenings... |
