Returning briefly to the actual topic, if that's OK? 
I've just received another damn blank invitation to be someone's friend and I've no idea who they are, I am losing friends by the one or two every day now  unless it's just 'Stripps' doing it everyday to wind me up

Don't worry Andy, once it all gets sorted out you will have hundreds of friends on there and will be wondering how the hell to get rid of us all
