Ryan Air start flying at end of October from Liverpool and East Midlands. Advertised as from £10 but in reality from £40 each way.

Flyglobespan from Glasgow have dropped prices as a result - now from £70

do you think they know something we dont?? .... or are they just trying to be cheeky & carry on charging the earth until a massive law suit, like the BA & Virgin 1 comes up against the smaller airlines too with all the extra flight supplements etc etc ??

You can go Iberia from Heathrow changing at Madrid for just under £130 return if you don't mind a slightly longer journey time.

October 29th from Glasgow, Flyglobespan. £70 when we booked 2 days ago, now £88, one way per person. Now can't find anything less than £83 for the rest of the year.

Just noticed, that should be +£18 per person tax Rolling Eyes

Has no one ever thought to compare the price of fuel now to 3 years ago?

Why do we all expect pay rices etc but not for airlines or other big companies who employ tens of thousands of staff all wanting pay rises?

As I've said before, i think £200 for a return ticket to fly 3,000 plus miles is a bargain.

The last time I looked there were some very cheap flights to Tenerife on the 28 th Aug.
