my oh's bil lives in Tenerife and he is a right drink driver always has been even in the uk. I know he has driven in uk and Tenerife whilst over the limit. Asshole!

When I lived in the Reef I was suprised at the amount of people that would drive absolutely wrecked !

They used to put 100e in their licences so if they got pulled over they handed it over to the police they would take 100e and let them drive on !

Personally I think it is wrong ! Twisted Evil

I wonder how many of those stories I have listend to and believed ha ha

Only time will tell! When I lived over there I was only 19 and very nieve and my friend LEanne whom has been on island for years had to keep saying to me, Leanne trust no one and do not listen to everything everyone tells you !

One was my boss in the bar I worked told everyone he was a millionaire.... he ended up leaving the island the girls who worked in the bar for him had to pay for his flight home ! ha ha

There were loads of stories one guy convinced people he was the goal keeper for Newcastle that played against Hereford when they got knocked out of the fa cup in the 70's ... a little research from my father in law ( a telephone call to St James Park) clarified it was not Dougie is was Liam Mcfall.... pmsl

So yes I get your point Rob!

I used to be a bit like you Leanne but as you get more experienced and hear more rubbish, you learn to weed out the liars and those that pretend they're something they're not. Still get caught out somtimes though Rolling Eyes

Ive lived and learned also but I think I may sometime be too nice and caught out ! I have learnt more about life this last year mind... for 23 I think Im pretty clued up more than others......dont know why I was always so nieve looking back but my daddy sheilded me alot !

Now I am a big, bad married lady with 2 mortgages and a puppy
