I know there isnt a manual for parenting but there is a thing called common sense...

Right, i dont have kids so im not one to speak BUT i know what is right and what is wrong in looking after kids. Today i went to Southend (On Sea) And what i saw was disgusting and unbelievable.. Quite frankly this couple dont deserve to have kids.. Let me explain...

1pm.. The sun is at its peak.. A Man and Women are at the seaside with their two kids.. Mother falls asleep tells Father to watch Kids.. 5 minutes later Father falls asleep.. Kids are running around by themselves (My friends Mum who i was with kept eye on the kids as she couldnt believe they were left to tend to themselves..) 1 hour later, Mother wakes up.. Screams at Father to watch kids.. She goes back 2 sleep.. Father does the same.. Again... Kids are still wondering around 2 hours later.. Now.. Both kids are really burnt (both only in nappies!) Some time later both kids fall sleep... are burning burning burning... Mum wakes up again tells Dad to watch kids again.. Mum goes to sleep again.. Dad goes to sleep again... Then finally at 6pm both parents wake up and take kids home..

I THINK SOCIAL SERVICES NEED TO GET INVOLVED.

Sorry, but you dont take your kids to the seaside and fall asleep all day.

You should be awake, on guard, watching your kids 24/7. I cant believe these people are even allowed kids. Everybody was disgusted. By the end of the day the kids were red raw it was so sad to see..

I agree entirely with your observations and comments. Adults should need to pass an exam and be constantly monitored to have children, because these chldren will grow up and become parents and treat their kids exactly the same way.....See you've sarted me off now Lisa.

I have alot of things i could say about what the parents are like.. They seem the type to be asleep all day (Which they was) and out all night.. (which i bet they are) When you have a.. say, 3 year old and a 2 year old you cant be doing that!

We had a few sun cream arguments with Nathan on holiday, we took no notice of the screams and feetstamping oh and we were wicked to him, he just got it slapped on,
he passed comment at the airport on to litttle girls about his age they had strappy little sun tops on........... their backs and shoulders were just a mas of healing blisters....... "nana I bet they did not have any sun cream on " Rolling Eyes

If we go to the beach or are out in the sun by the pool we have a sun suit for Tom. It is brilliant and is factor 50.

This way he just gets cream on his head, arms and legs.

OMG thats is the most discusting thing I think I have heard in a long long time.

You do see a lot of it here. The children run around without hats and cream and inthe end they look like beetroots. I HATE IT. I always take cream out with my children. They have it on all year round here of course...

People that want to lay around all day and sleep on the beach whilst their children get the onset of skin cancer, really really make me mad. when you have children you should be there for them all the time...look after them, make sure they are in the safest environment possible.

These parents should be locked up, asleep in a baking oven and see how they like it...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Evil or Very Mad

Do you know what I think you should have done? It's what I would do:

Got your own cream and slapped it on them, then (having a child with me would make it look less odd) take the children to an area (not too close or too far away) and start making sand castles with them or something. When the parent's woke up and couldn't immediately see them then they might have woken up (quite litereally) to what could happen when they're not looking. They need a fright but let's hope for the children's sake they get to learn their lesson before any real harm does come to the children.

That didnt cross my mind actually, but know the Police theyd see it as a minor thing and would do nothing about it! I was away most of the time, and my friends Mum was constantly watching them and covering up so its lucky that somebody was watching them

Yeah that crossed my mind that if they woke up i was gonna play with them so when the parents woke up they would of thought where their children have gone but they didnt wake up when i was there! (I was away most of the time)
