You'd do better to put her CV on here with qualifications etc. _________________ .

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Be very careful about your girlfriends qualifications. They will not be recognised in Spain and therefor she will have to re-qualify to enable her to work with the Spanish.

...IF they require qualifications. If she wants a job in a nursery even there, as far as I know, she doesn't need to have qualifications, although with them, she will be able to earn more. Her qualifications MAY be recognised here but she would need to get them officially translated and then convalidated (a friend of mine is currently doing this for her teaching qualifications in order to enable her to work in the Spanish schools). _________________ Who am I? Thank you all for your advice. I have PM to Rob asking how to attach CV to this forum. I know how to attach one to an email but that is as far as it goes. My girlfriend is near 38 years old and has the qualification known as NNEB. She has had some jobs but they were a few years ago. She went to try and live in Australia twice, once for a year and last year for 6 months. She had no luck in getting a work perit or residents permit even though she has a mother and sister living there. We live in Swansea and there is little or no requirents for nannies in this area. She was lucky recently and obtained a temporary nanny postion for a month working for a Doctor of medicine.
I have retired early due to a small stroke last year. I am fine now and want to make the move. However she is a bit reticent about moving without the possibilty of child care work in Tenerife. She is keen to continue her career in child care and wants to earn her own money and not be kept soley by me.
I am planning to go to Tenerife on September the 18th for a week to sort out long term rental apartment. I am trying to get a reasonbly priced flight
from Cardiff. I am shocked at the prices of flights. We were in Tenerife in May this year and paid no were near what they are asking now.
There you go guys you know something about us now. Thanks again. _________________ I love Tenerife |

Hi, you cannot add attachments to our website. You can copy and paste the relevant info into a post about jobs/work or type it in.
If you read the stickies and previous posts you'll see that your friend is very unlikely to be offered a job in Tenerife unless she lives here.
Flight prices vary considerably depending on the time of year, May is a slack month so flights are discounted. Try the prices for two weeks at Xmas New Year! _________________ .
