hi ive used www.millerrental.com this year...so pleased with the service! was 520 euros to install,you just need to provide the tv!then 90 euro's per year maintenance...worth every penny to keep up with the outside world!
bbc 1,2 Itv, C4,5 MBC2 movies..which is a good all round selection of movies..not crappy ones!

Does anyone know the websites or telephone numbers of any suppliers of these packages ?
Miller Rental ?
Oasis FM ?
The one which does a one off and without continuing payments ?
The Firm which charges €22 a month for TV on your computer ?( I`ll only be able to get a wireless connection.)
The Firm which does wireless connections ?
We`ll be needing a TV too, so maybe one of them could do deal.
We`ll be over at the end of October for 6 months - so need some ideas or preparations made if we want to avoid playing scrabble evenings in a mobile Home.

Sorry Rob !
I`m afraid I had linked to 1 or 2 similar threads a few months ago and did have some telephone numbers given and you referred me to classifieds through which I couldn`t find anything. Maybe I was using it wrongly.
Now our arrival is within a few weeks I looked it up again but didn`t spot the website given for Miller Rentals (which is just the type of thing I wanted before phoning around before I posted again.
I was just trying to give the full picture but agree I have already been given what I need and am presently exploring the possibilities.
I hope I will be able to thank you all again from my laptop in Tenerife next month while happily watching one of the English TV packages.

I only have 5 Spanish channels and have enjoyed watching US or EE.UU. movies dubbed in Spanish.

Most of it is complete gobbledegook but the palabras are starting to come through.

It's amazing how much of a movie you can actually follow without understanding the dialogue.

Personally speaking, we won't be going out of our way to get British TV. Any recent movies and particular TV series can be downloaded and any Scottish football means a trip to a pub somewhere
