We are now in a position to look for a cheap runabout, not bothered about year or what it is(within reason) and was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has something for sale.

We haven't a big budget so i know we might end up with a shed on wheels but a car would be so much easier for us to get about and maybe better for the job prospects.

Budget upto about 1900€

We have just got a second car and it cost 2600 euros. Daewoo Matiz. 2002.

I can pm you the name of the guy and his number if you want but he is not going to have anything for that amount.

Think hard about your budget, an extra 1000 euros could save you more in the long run with repairs and breakdowns. You can get a car for that amount but it is going to cost you in maintenance.

I had a Ford Ka so I should know.

That is our budget Karl so maybe just have to hang about for something to come up.

Or you could put that down as a deposit on a new car and get the rest on finance. If you got something like a Ford Fiesta then the monthly installments will be minimal. And the new Ford's come with a 4 year guarantee. They also sell nearly new or showroom cars (not sure what the proper name is). Next week we could meet up and I could take you to the showroom to have a look if you like.
