You really don't read the posts that people put on here? You won't find people advertising what they own on the internet..... as I've said several times the place to find ownership (costs 9 euros) is the land registry.

because you don't know what the Land Registry is Leanne?

The Land Registry is part of the town hall that has documents on all plots of land / properties in their "municipio" (area/county). When you buy a property / land, you need to register with them.

Provided that you give sufficient info to identify the property, they usually send the results within a few hours or the following working morning at the latest.

Not particularly recommended for non-Spanish readers/writers though.

Despite Spain being a bureaucratic country, you would be surprised how many things you can now look up online, Spanish Law, Company Searches etc etc. Again, most are in Spanish only though. Time to brush off those textbooks and get back to school folks !!

To do it online I believe that you must have finca and book nos. Whereas if you go in person you can locate it on the maps and they'll then give the Nos.

No doubt you'll correct me if I'm wrong. Wink
