My husband just discovered this site this morning so I thought I would register and say HI to you all!! We have been to Tenerife four times now and absolutely love it and are looking forward to coming back again next June! We usually stay in the Puerto Santiago/Los Gigantes area as the laid back way of life suits us just fine. We normally hire a car and get out and about as much as we can, especially up in the National Park as we like to do a lot of walking up there as the air is SO clear. We have found one or two of the roads to be a bit white knuckle type but the majority are well maintained and well signposted so we have never had any problems. I am learning a bit of Spanish so that we can go off the beaten track a bit more and away from the resorts. Roll on June as looking at the virtual tour has just put us in the mood for a holiday!!  |
