Believe me Rich I am not a big shoe fan, I love flip flops mind hence one reason why I want to live in the Reef again ! lol

Thanks for all the info guys it is definately something to think about,

I bet I could get all my clothes that I would keep into 2 large suit cases and it would be under the allowance.

That's what comes of having 2 mortgage I suppose for 8 months grrrr

i dont suppose they have Xmas sales in Tenerife do they?? as its pretty much all year round warmish place they dont need to get rid of summer wear etc etc, or am i wrong?? ...

at least thats 1 good thing Leanne, if youre going out in 'diciembre' you wont be able to fill up another suitcase with 'flip-flops & end of season bargins!!!' to bring back here, so thats saving you there lol ....

I wish we could be like that with just a few boxes but i suppose with me being 'old n' all' ive accumilated more 'JUNK' to be polite!! lol...... ohh & Kaz does like shoes & boots....!!!

Not everywhere in Tenerife enjoys hot temperatures all year round so yes the shops carry different stocks at different times of the year. Hence sales twice a year....next one around 10th Jan.

They gave us a guideline of 6-8 weeks but it ended up been 10 weeks in total

The time of year does have an impact on the timescale too.

Our main holdup was the woman who couldn't provide the relevant documents that we had all been asked for and that held it up at the port for a further 10 days

Ok now I'm getting really confused with all you 'Doubles' players out there. Each time you're posting, I have to try and guess which of you (the better half or otherwise) that's posting at any given moment.

Ok, so some of the posts are fairly obvious (unless of course the guys like to cross-dress) but its still confusing. Maybe you could put your name in brackets at the start of the post or something?

Of course if I'm the only one who's getting confused by this, then I'll shut up and go sit in the corner again......
