Hello everyone, i'm a new user to this forum and i'd like to try and pick your members brains to see if they can help me in any way. I am an annual 'New Year' visitor to Playa de las Americas and this year am taking the extra step of visiting for Christmas aswell. I was wondering does anyone know of any Hotels/Restaurants/Bars which serve a Traditional Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day and/or is it best to book in advance (if possible) to avoid missing out?

English pubs will - but best to book ahead.

Thanks Sarah, do you know of any names of pubs or contact numbers i could try? I arrive in Tenerife on Tuesday 20th would it be too late to book something then once i arrive or would you say its best to phone ahead prior to my arrival?

Hi Simpa and welcome,

All depends on the standard of food you're looking for but if you're going to be here that early you'll find plenty of meals available. Personally I wouldn't go to pubs and bars for a christmas lunch if the food is the main interest, the atmosphere is usually good but canteen style food....no thanks.

That could ignite a debate but I do stress that it's my opinion only.
