Found two here in the south that do Sushi. One's called Teppanyaki and you can find it in the Safarti Centre, opposite the Mare Nostrum Resort. The other is called Hujiyama, and is located in Lso Cristianos, on the Calle Los Sabandeños.

I've always been curious about Sushi, but never summoned to "courage" to eat it. I'm always fearful of any percieved health risks associated with eating raw fish...

There is also an excellent Japanese sushi restaurant in La Laguna. The presentation of food is excellent. there's a fairly wide selection of apetisers. The prices are also very reasonable as far as Japanese food goes. It's definitely a traditional japanese experience.

Sushi can be purchased as above, and also at the Oriental Food City , next to Holtel Las Palmeras, PDLA.

There is a sushi restaurant in El Medano, but my latest place is WOK DIRECTO, Los Cristianos, where they have a 'chinese/teppanyaki' buffet.

Unlimited everything including sushi and dim sum. Its not as cheap as the umpteen chinese buffets that are on every street corner, but it is much more superior as regards food quality and taste etc.

Te Teppanyaki restaurant is at the Safari Centre

Oh and what I forgot to say before, SUSHI IS NOT JUST RAW FISH!!!!!!!!!!

I eat a lot of vegetarian sushi
