It looks as though its going to be a 'normal' forum meet. At the moment Funky, Jim and I....Bard...Strips and family....Jude Sam and girls?....Maybe seagull?
Karlb and family have colds...stay away from me please.
Andy and Julia have visitors.
Jenny and family have birthday parties.
Is it worth the effort of trying to organise a Christmas do?

| I am throwing in a visit to the local pyramid if anyone wants to see it - it's about ten minutes walk uphill from the seafront and another ten back and at this time of year has ferns growing all over it! It's just as good as any Güimar ones and is free to see if anyone is interested! |

yes I think it is worth a christmas do...last year we had a real good turn out and it was nice.....if we book somewhere and then get deposits like last time it should be ok..
as for this one...well it is falling apart at the seams.

Yes of course it is Rob me and Chris are coming definately ! If it is the week we are there of course ! I may even see if my friend would like to come along too !
We are more than happy to give a deposit do not know how we would get it to you.....

Sorry Rob. I was hoping to get along to this one, after all it is a short bus ride away.
We too have visitors and a dinner date has been arranged between Mrs Seagull and them for Saturday evening. Also a dear mate has his first karaoke gig of the season (The Robin Hood bar, Puerto) on Saturday night and he has texted me twice asking that I be there. (I don't know why as when it is my turn I get requests. I just ignore them and sing anyway!)

Well I think so Rob after last year. It was a lovely evening and good of you to let us meet for drinks before and after at your place. Food was great, company was enjoyable.
Are you a betting man?
Why not hold a competition, say 2 or 3 weeks before get the numbers of those who have confirmed they are coming. Then on the same day everyone says how many they think will turn up, whoever is closest on the night gets 5 euros from everyone. If one or more get the same answer then its split.
Whatdayareckon ? I think I am going to be pretty close lol

It is currently sunny and warm and in a mild calima. It will be cooler late afternoon and early evening but not cold and people will be bathing here today for sure. I will be in shorts, short-sleeved shirt and flipflops but perhaps a light jacket or cardigan might be a precaution if the weather changes dramatically and as you will no doubt find it a lot cooler here! |
