Not necessarily and you have a pair in your avatar pic - I bought a pair of 12€ flipflops and have worn them nearly every day for many months and they are still going well. But I have in the past bought more expensive shoes or trainers that have developed holes or come away from the base in a matter of weeks. |
12€, that's quite expensive for flip flops!! I have some for 3€ from Carrefour and others for 6€ from a shop in Las Galletas  |
Well, I have never been to Carrefour so don't know anything about it. I have only bought 2 pairs of flipflops - the ones I have and the others that worn out so I suppose I don't know much about them. Actually they may be classed as sandals not flipflops because they have 2 straps at back and front that attach with velcro. The rest of it is open so I think of them as flipflops. I am new to all this having worn nothing but trainers for the first year I was here!  |

i have flipflops but i also have flipflop style sandals there just made out of a more durable material so i dont no what to call them but in total i have about 5 pairs lol... i like shoes

I suppose we should ask exactly what you get up to whilst wearing all these watches, but I'm going to stick to my motto "What happens in Tenerife, stays in Tenerife" 
Bard, may I recommend doubling your outlay to €20. Then maybe it will last 2 years instead?

Cheap watches used to work a lot longer in the UK than they do here!
Maybe I should get a 20€ one then! |
